Night of Vision 2022 Recap

Night of Vision Recap

Eleven partner churches came together for our Night of Vision. God blessed us with more than $21,500 in donations and pledges!

Board members and staff shared the mission and vision of Love INC of Greater Hillsboro.  Below are pictures of just a few.

Executive Director, Jolene Snow and Director of Advancement, Carol Shafer

Board President,
Larry Ackerman

Erin Sansom, Volunteer Clearinghouse Coordinator

There were games, cake and ice cream and an auction. The auction included a Pampered Chef Creative Cake basket, a two night’s stay for up to six people at a Cannon Beach and a quilt. And, as an extra, there was a second quilt and the condo was auctioned off for a second week!

We shared stories of real-life neighbors and discovered how our six core principles of Redemptive Compassion related to them. Redemptive Compassion® is a biblical philosophy on how we can offer wholistic help to those we serve.

You can read one of these stories in our post about Wholistically Helping our Neighbors.

The Pat Brown Award for Excellence in Volunteer Service winner was…

Dawn Forrest of Singing Hills Church!

Dawn volunteers as a receptionist in the Clearinghouse/Center.

She has been a faithful volunteer for ever seven years.

She is always willing to do whatever needs to be done and is an asset to our team.

Love INC of Greater Hillsboro has the best volunteers!

Volunteers don't get paid, not because they're worthless, but because they are priceless
