Meet Robin Smith

We are excited to welcome Robin Smith from New Life Baptist Church to the Love INC of Greater Hillsboro staff as Clearinghouse Coordinator (CHC).

We asked Robin to share a little about her motivation to serve.

Q. What interested you about the Clearinghouse Coordinator position at Love INC of Greater Hillsboro.

A. After I retired from my government job, I prayed the good Lord would use my talents and strengths to further His work here on earth. I prayed many times for the Lord to put me to good use.

When Jolene spoke at our church about needing a Clearinghouse Coordinator at Love INC, it felt like she was talking straight to my heart! I had volunteered at our church’s Essentials Closet for a couple of years, and liked how it was run.

I applied that day. I have been surprised and truly blessed every day since then. This is more than a job. It’s a very solid answer to prayer.

I cannot thank God enough for letting me work alongside these people who show His love in action.
